My name is Amanda and I am mum to two children, Ella (aged 13) and Holly (aged 7). As well as being a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), I am also a qualified Antenatal Teacher with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).

Having attended baby massage classes with both my children, I appreciated the real value of them, not only for my children but also for myself. Spending precious time with your baby, learning to massage them effectively and having the opportunity to discuss various issues surrounding parenthood with other parents, was really invaluable.

My babies also benefitted in so many ways – one suffered terrible colic and the techniques I learnt really helped ease her symptoms. Researching the many benefits of infant massage inspired me to undertake the training to become an instructor and it is a great joy to be able to pass on the many benefits of infant massage through my classes.

Becoming a new parent holds huge challenges, as an NCT teacher I appreciate that many parents have very little (if any) knowledge about caring for a newbon baby.  That is why I also run practical Babycare Workshops to help inspire confidence and give practical advice and skills to new parents!
